[ 001 // Why Pulse ]

Your night out shouldn't live in
ten different tabs.

Events and deals are scattered everywhere, so locals miss things and visitors don't know where to start. Pulse puts the whole valley in one place.

Without Pulse

  • Events buried in Eagle County Classifieds and a dozen Facebook groups
  • Every town website listing a different slice of the week
  • Specials posted to Instagram stories that vanish in 24 hours
  • The old guide app covers only Vail, hasn't been updated since 2021, and mostly links out to vail.com
  • Finding out about the show the morning after

With Pulse

  • Vail, Avon, Beaver Creek and Edwards in one app
  • One shared calendar with every event in one place
  • Restaurant deals and prices shown up front
  • Posted by the businesses themselves, updated in real time
  • Push notifications for the venues, artists and event types you follow

[ 002 // Take the tour ]

See exactly how it works,
screen by screen.

The app isn't out yet, so here's the whole thing laid out. Six screens, and what each one does for you.

Screen 01

Today: what's happening right now

Open the app and you land on today. Every event, show and deal across the four towns, in time order, starting with what's on next. Swipe the chips at the top to switch between everything, live music, deals or free.

  1. 1
Town at a glance. Each listing has a colored dot: blue for Vail, green for Avon, gold for Beaver Creek, purple for Edwards.
  2. 2
The price, up front. Free, a cover charge, a ticket price or a deal. You know before you tap.
  3. 3
Tap the heart to save an event so it's easy to find again.
Screen 02

Event details: everything in one place

Tap any listing to see the full picture: date and time, the venue and town, what it costs and how to get in, plus a short description from the business that posted it.

  1. 1
What it costs and how to pay: free, cover at the door, or tickets.
  2. 2
Add to calendar in one tap. It goes straight into your Apple, Google or Outlook calendar.
  3. 3
Follow the venue (or the artist, or the event type) to hear about their next one automatically.
Screen 03

Calendar: the whole valley, any day

Plan ahead for the weekend, next week or your whole vacation. The dots under each day show how much is happening and in which towns. Tap a day to see its full lineup.

  • One shared calendar for Vail, Avon, Beaver Creek and Edwards
  • Color-coded by town, so you can see where the action is
  • Every event has + Cal to send it to your own calendar
Screen 04

Filters: fifty events tonight? Find your three.

A busy Friday can have 50 or more things going on. Filters narrow it down to what you're actually in the mood for, and the count updates as you tap.

  • Town: stay close or go anywhere in the valley
  • Category: live music, concerts, food & drink, outdoors, family, nightlife, arts
  • Price: free, $ to $$$, or deals only
  • Time: happening now, this evening, or late night
Screen 05

Deals: happy hours and specials, live

Restaurant and bar specials posted by the restaurants themselves, with the exact window they run. "Happening now" shows only deals you can still catch, and how long you have left.

  • Happy hours, après specials, dinner deals and limited-time offers
  • Time windows and the days they run, so nothing's out of date
  • Follow a restaurant to get its new deals as they're posted
Screen 06

Following: never find out the morning after

Follow the venues, artists, restaurants and kinds of events you care about. When one of them posts something new, you get a push notification.

  • Follow venues, artists & bands and restaurants
  • Follow event types like trivia, live music or free events
  • Push notifications the moment they post

[ 003 // A night with Pulse ]

From "what should we do?"
to out the door.

Here's what a typical Friday looks like with Pulse on your phone.

  1. A deal finds you

You follow a taco spot in Avon. A notification: half-off tacos and margs until 6.

  2. Check what's on tonight

52 events across the valley. You tap Live music and Free, set the time to "this evening," and you're down to three.

  3. Lock it in

Bluegrass at the Amphitheater, $25. One tap adds it to your calendar.

  4. Head out

It's on your calendar with the time and venue. No digging back through Facebook posts to remember where it was.

  5. Hear about the next one

You followed the band at the show. Before the night's over, they post a Saturday gig in Vail and you're the first to know.

[ 009 // FAQ ]

Good to know

Still have a question? Get in touch.

What is Vail Valley Pulse?

An app that puts everything happening in Vail, Avon, Beaver Creek and Edwards in one place: events, concerts, live music, restaurants and their deals, activities, and what they all cost, on one shared calendar that updates in real time.

Which towns does it cover?

Vail, Avon, Beaver Creek and Edwards, all on one calendar and color-coded by town so you can see where things are at a glance.

When can I get the app?

Pulse is coming soon to iPhone and Android. Look for it in the App Store and Google Play, or scan a Pulse QR code at hotels, restaurants, bus stops and visitor centers around the valley.

I'm just visiting. Is it for me?

Yes. Pulse is built to be easy for first-time visitors: open it and you'll see everything happening today, with prices and towns on every listing. No local knowledge needed.

How is this different from Facebook groups or town websites?

Those each cover a slice: one town, one group, one business's posts. Pulse brings all four towns and every kind of event and deal into a single calendar you can filter, with prices shown up front.

What about the existing Vail guide app?

It covers only Vail, hasn't been updated since 2021 and mostly links out to vail.com. Pulse covers the whole valley and is kept current by the businesses themselves, in real time.

How are events kept up to date?

Businesses and organizations post their own events and deals, and they appear on the calendar as soon as they're submitted. For businesses on the Concierge plan, Vail Digital adds their events each month.

Can I get alerts for my favorite places?

Yes. Follow venues, artists, restaurants or event types, and you'll get a push notification when they post something new.

Can I add events to my own calendar?

Yes. Every event has a one-tap "Add to calendar" button that works with Apple, Google and Outlook calendars.

Is it just for ski season?

No. Pulse covers the valley all year: summer concerts, winter après, and everything in the shoulder seasons.

How does my business get on Pulse?

Create a business account and submit your events. They go onto the calendar automatically. Or choose the Concierge plan and Vail Digital adds them for you every month. Every kind of business and organization is welcome.

How much do business plans cost?

Pricing is being finalized. Get in touch and we'll walk you through the options.
